About
Hi, I'm Brigette.
I'm an artist, maker and lifelong collector of interesting things. The Pfisterhaus grew from my love of making things by hand, and my inability to look at an old textile, unusual fabric or forgotten object without wondering what else it could become.
I make clothing, accessories and wearable art in my Greensboro, North Carolina studio, often incorporating vintage, reclaimed and repurposed materials.
The result is sometimes practical, occasionally ridiculous and almost never exactly like anything else.
Which is pretty much the point.
